I got a drink for 1 gold coin in the inn and my stamina was at 4. But after I drank it, it was still four.

The Master of Gardens takes you to his home in the northern edge of the swamp. You forget your loyalty to the Master of Wolves and live out the rest of your days as the Master of Gardens' friend and faithful companion.
Is it possible to finish the game has a human?

I do enjoy the fighting nature of this one, also the different equipment is a nice touch. Good story line too. Well done!

I enjoyed that story... completed it first time but I was lucky with Initial Die Rolls (Skill 11, Stamina 21)
Out of interest are there any instant deaths/bad endings to this story or is the game based on not losing all your stamina in the various battles.
Yes it has 18 unsuccessful endings, 12 of which are deaths.

I'll just take a guess that the "dank" on page 216 is supposed to be "dark" ;)
It was a good read, not too long, not too short.
I found it a bit harder to immerse myself into the second part (for obvious reasons), but it was an interesting twist.
Not entirely sure how I feel about the ending. Still undecided on whether it's supposed to be a happy ending or not. But I guess.. Yes? There are still quite the amount of options I didn't explore, so I might give it another read, just for exploration purposes.
All in all, I'd say this is a solid 8.5/10, mainly because of the original twist.

Then I assume you won't like Rise of the Night Creatures either, which is featured here on ffp. :)

I really enjoyed how the story's setting always kept changing, and found the
arena fight with the orc
defense of the castle
That being said, I will complete the game once more, because I suspect that the ending I got isn't the only one, and would like to see how things turn out if I do things somewhat differently.

An interesting and unique story.

That was great. The extensive choices made for great gameplay, not to mention an ingenious plot. I am curious as to the final piece of information you can provide to the Council and the 5th wizard in Swamp as I seem to have missed them. The battles were perfect for any skill. There were perhaps excessive luck checks, but maybe that was just the path I took. Great job with the smattering of insta-losses near the end. Overall, great and worth recommending. Grade: 99

A very substantial piece of work, with a good twist that I didn't see coming!
