Lair Of The Troglodytes

Well, I won Lair of the Troglodyte by buying loads of puffballs and throwing them at the adventurer. There probably is an easier way, but I didn't find it.

Aha but there is an eaisier way, look for a growth potion and fight a snake, take its skin and give it to the chief go into big room,use big potion and your initial stats will be SK:10 ST:10 and your curent stats will be doubled

1. Go to Shunga's Gambling Den.
2. Play Spot The Bettle (try to win at least 5 tusks).
3. Buy 1 Moss Dumpling and as many Puffballs as possible, from Zudda.
4. Go to the Gaurdroom.
5. Run for the tunnel.
6. Kill whatever attacks you here and eat your Moss Dumpling.
7. Go to the top of the Warren.
8. Ask Ilkya about Bosha's Gourd.
9. Don't buy anything.
10. Go to the Mooncave.

the whole adventure starts winding up now. Make sure that you dont attack the advnturer and thewn drink the growing poition. you will win soon.

spoiler 1. Wake up(in my opinion Skuznut's worst decision ever) 2. Go to Shunga's Gambling Den, try to win 1 tusk(though this isnt compulsory). 3. Buy 1 Moss Dumpling and 2 Puff Balls. 4. Go to the Guardroom and run for the tunnel, find Bosha's Gourd. 5. Fight a VENEMOUS SNAKE and gets its skin. 6. Go to Illkya and show her the Gourd by useing it. 7. Go to te Chief and swap your snakeskin for a Bronze Dagger. 8. Go to the Big Room, use your Growth Potion and attack the ADVENTURER. 9. The Potion will wear off...read the happy ending! (No, you do not die)

1) Go to Badduz the Brewer and drink 2 cups of Elven spleen (-2 Sk). 2) Go to the Fungus Garden and track Badduz down, you'll get a Shroomshrine Grog, 6 tusks & 2 nuggets. 3) Spend ALL your tusks (you won't need them further) on dumplings and puffballs. I personally reccommend 2 puffballs and 3 dumplings(you can trade the Grog for a dumpling). 4) Head to the Guardroom. 5) Run for the tunnel and fall (-2 Stamina) and get Bosha's Gourd. 6) Fight a random monster (i believe there are six diff kinds in total). Note: remember that your skill is still down by 2(due to elven spleen) at this point. If you meet a monster of skill 4 or higher you may find it hard to win. Use all your puffballs if necessary, since the monsters all have low Stamina like you. 7) Beat the monster a get 2 tusks. 8) Proceed to the top of the Warren. 9) Show Bosha's Gourd to the Hag. 10) Buy the Elixir to restore your Skill (use the two tusks u got from monster earlier). 11) Buy the Mushrooms with your copper nuggets(THAT's why you have to visit Badduz earlier, to get the nuggs) 12) Go down left passage. 13) Turn right. 14) Follow the ghosts throughh hole in ceiling(get the clue about wrath of Akhuz). 15) Go to the Moon Cave--you now have the the Spear of Akhuz! (+2 Sk). Now quickly restore your Stamina to the full with dumplings if it's not full before 'turning the page'. 16) Use the growth potion and fight the Adventurer for 3 rounds. 17) Your clan chases off the humans, and Chief Vurg asks you for the spear. Do NOT give it to him. Be prepared to fight the final boss... 18) Fight Chief Vurg. Use ALL you puffballs/dumplings if you need them. Since you have the spear, you should be able to beat him... Voila! You are now the new Chief!

You need a Growth Potion and the Magic Spear.

Take the forbidden passage in the Guardroom (NOT the trapdoor or the other exit).

Pay the hag two copper nuggets for her mushrooms.

go to the brewery, drink yourself into unconsiousness, then seek your revenge against the thief!

Read the instructions when you get it. It says use it when you find someone who may be able to identify it for you. There aren't too many Trogs around who can identify potions now are there...
