I have completely redrafted Satan's Academy so there are now no mistakes, better wording, better description and one or two tweaks in the story. I have emailed it so hoping it'll be on here soon. If anyone wants to play the new version, send me your email and I'll send it over. I'd love loads of feedback on it both good and bad and if anyone wants to add artwork to it I'd be ever so grateful.

Satan's Academy
Paul Mc has provided an updated version of his gamebook, in which he has fixed errors and added some extra bits. He is very keen to get feedback on it, so if you have anything to say then please don't hold back.
Noticed a glitch. If you are playing it and you are on Reference 150, or Reference 225 (you'll be in a room with a globe). It tells you to (Turn to 257). Which leads you to one of my instant deaths that make no sense as that reference is for another part of the book. This is a mistake. It should give you this option instead: Leave the room and try the door opposite (Turn to 281) Leave the room and press on up the passage (Turn to 361)

@ Paul Mc, It's probably a good idea to check through the entire Satan's Academy in case of any more glitches. You can always request Andy to make some changes (not sure if 'download' types would be read-only, but certainly 'option-click' types in the list above left can be altered by the webmeister if requested). Many gamebook writers do make mistakes - look up 'Snakeland Scorpion' on Titannica Wiki and some errors are listed there! And that's not including grammatical errors. Besides which, some of the published FF (yes, where the commissioned authors were paid) had some reference errors. I'll get round to playing your gamebook when I have some spare time: at the moment I'm trying to get round to reading 'Warriors of the Storm' by Bernard Cornwell, while SCCF Book 2 is an ongoing project. Incidentally, I've had to extend this by another hundred references to accommodate certain gameplay ideas.
I generally leave the original texts in the hands of the authors. There is the occasional exception to this, for example when I put Alessandro Viola's Italian translations into Any Port In A Storm, but by and large I leave them alone. Sometimes authors send me updated versions, and I replace the currently available versions with these, but I rarely edit anything.

Ive checked and there are no other glitches... the problem came about when I added a new set of options in the book.

@ Andy, Sorry, wasn't sure if you could alter online versions at author's request if they sent an email. My mistake. Really glad you had the translations inserted, more authentic, thanks to Alessandro!

Well, I kept dying and ending up outside all the time. I did get a lot of numbered keys. With more references used you could easily fix the problem of reoccuring battle encounters. I think Ian Livingstone just put (if you haven't already) or (if you've been in this area prior turn to this page) just so it looked cleaner. The dude I just killed would be still lying on the floor. And for people who haven't read the guestbook for this particular gamebook and run into those errors on Reference 150 & Reference 225 might be confused and not read the game again, might want to send in a new revision. Anyways, liked the murals, thought something bad would happen if I looked at it. And nothing happened in the Textiles room (unless there is some point to it I missed) :( kinda a waste of a section. But I'm no expert. Otherwise, never made it to the end yet, but very enjoyable satanic book. :)

There is a point to the textiles room. Read again it says.
SPOILER
There is nothing must of interest except a SHAWL WHICH YOU TAKE. You need that Shawl to get the medallion off the girl in the art room.

Where do you keep dying, ill message you to help you.
Paul Mc Sun Dec 13 09:16:57 2015
Also for those who want a bit of help Ill tell you vaguely what items you must obtain to complete the game.
SPOILER
1. A bunch of keys. 2. A particular key with a number, make sure it is the right key, other numbered keys are traps. 3. A stake which is hidden in a room where you must know a code. You also need to find out where it is as it is a hidden reference. 4. Another numbered key OR a combination code. 5. Potion of strength (you can complete the adventure without it but it's damn near impossible)

Ohhh I missed that part, in the textiles room. It was just wrong choices I made that's why I kept dying, so I went back and pretended it never happened.

150 and 225: Turn to reference 257 is a mistake... instead do this...
Leave the room and try the door opposite (Turn to 281) Leave the room and press on up the passage (Turn to 361)
Paul Mc Fri Feb 19 19:34:48 2016
SPOILER
To find the stake you must do the following. 1. Go into emo hut and kiss Luca. You will then be given loads of good stuff but you will also be told if you find the cupboard of healing deduct 10 from the reference you are on and you will find a secret room behind it. When you are in the medical room do that. 2. When you are in secret room, you will be asked the value of X by some weird imp thing, you must turn to the reference that is the valus of x (you can find it in the maths room). If you want me to tell you it ill put it in below spoiler.
