Return To G15-275
To all fans of the WWGB saga:

Episode 7: Return to G15-275 is still in development and has been expanded to 450 references. I've nearly finished writing, but it's quite a complex book and so there will be lots of checking to be done. Hopefully it will be entertaining and so hard that no one will be able to finish it. I've had high hopes for previous titles in the series, but some of you are far too clever.

Windhammer Competition
Arborell.com is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2010 Windhammer Prize for Short Gamebook Fiction is Stuart Lloyd for his impressive pirate adventure, Sharkbait's Revenge. Merit awards have also been won by Zachary Carango for his sci-fi adventure, Red World, and Ashton Saylor for his modern-day fantasy entry, The Gates of Heaven and Hell. Congratulations go to all who have been successful in this year's competition and a sincere thankyou to the authors of the entries that did not find success.

2010 has been a year of growth for the Windhammer Prize, the quality and diversity of the entries exceptional, the interest from readers greater than in all previous years. More than 1240 downloads of entries were made over the course of the voting period and the number of votes forwarded more than doubled those received in 2009. It has been both a busy and satisfying time for the competition sponsor and this can be attributed in the main to the quality and originality of the entries submitted.

I would like to thank everyone who submitted entries and to the many readers who took the time to download those works and forward their votes. It is greatly appreciated. At this time I would also like to invite all who enjoy gamebooks to consider entering the 2011 competition. If you are an author who wishes a competitive environment to promote your work then this is the competition for you.

May Glory and Renown follow all who have found success here.

Regards
Wayne Densley

Hi guys, huge fan of this site and love some of the efforts. House of Horror II everybit as good as the original and love the dark humour in the Planet of the Spiders -both right up my street!

You guys inspired me to have my own little effort as I'm a fantasy author too and so I've printed a bonus "choose your own adventure" book as a partial follow up to my debut Lyrian. Sadly not as good as some here (you guys should consider print for some of these efforts!), but I'd love to give a few of the contributors on here a free copy if they like. it's the least i could do for some truly amazing efforts...

if you would like one just email me at lyrian@hotmail.co.uk and i will get one sent out. not sure if it will arrive by Xmas, but something to pass the drab january or give me a pointer of where i'm going wrong =)

Hey Kristopher. I was curious as to whether your gamebook would be availlable exclusively to the admins of this site, or whether you'll send them out to us mere mortals as well. *Smile*. I'm always interested to read other's gamebooks. Also, when you finish it, you can submit it for download to the site, and if Andy likes it well enough, it'll probably be added for online play as well. Get back to me when you can. Hope all is going well for the rest of you guys, as well.

Bodies In The Docks
Hey, just a line to say that I really enjoy this site! I come back to it every few months to try a few more of the games.

Bodies on the Docks so far is my favourite- I love how there's no hint at the beginning what the theme really is. Instead, I was sucked in by the atmosphere, I was wondering where it was all going. And then the Deep Ones appeared...

Great stuff. I hope the site continues to be a resource for fans and writers of gamebooks!

A Midwinter Carol
A Midwinter Carol

I've made an online version of Kieran Coghlan's festive gamebook.

Tomorrow is the 14th of Snow's Cloak, the Midwinter Festival and all Arion is preparing for the festivities. All that is except you - Ethelred Samiar, the Baron Den Snau. You have no time for the present giving and "good will to all men" that this sanctimonious holiday demands. No, you have great plans for tomorrow. The Love of Libra Orphanage has failed to pay back the money you lent them and you're going to have the place closed down tomorrow...

I'm Writing A Gamebook
Hi, Im a big fan of Fighting Fantasy, and I was looking for this site for a long time! I always dreamed of writing a Fighting Fantasy Book, and I have on little question about it:
Is it possible to make a FF WWII based adventure?
