Anyway. By now anyone that has read 'the first incoherent adventure' should have been able to figure out the critical path and what is being invented here. Personally I think It's quite innovative. |

Great gamebook! The only thing was I didn't actually encounter any fights. |

Wrong Way Go Back

Hi guys,
I just couldn't get how is "go mo" = 50? I'd appreciate if someone has figured it up and can share the knowledge :) |

@ Al Toro
When you assign numbers to letters starting at A=1, B=2 and so on you get:
g=7, o=15, m=13, o = 15
7+15+13+15 = 50
Wrong Way Go Back has too many leaps of logic like that, and I would like to go back and rewrite it - but the rest of the series gets more reasonable. |

Thank you for the support, I figured it out just a bit after writing the question here.
I just finished the editing of the gamebook translation in Bulgarian, btw. I think it is a pretty cool one, both light for reading, with enjoyable sense of humor, but with gameplay and story as well. I changed only this "puzzle", since I think very few readers will figure it out, even if they know the password, which makes no sense - it would be more difficult for the reader than the character, so I added instruction in the spirit of "If you know the password, sum the numbers, corresponding to its letters (A=1, B=2...)" Also I added sections for "Items" and separated the usage of "time" in the rules. Finally, I rounded up the minutes used. It seems like a fun idea, but after few chapters it gets extremely annoying to sum up the seconds and rounding it to 10 seems like a good idea.
I do not know whether you were contacted regarding the translation, but if not - there are some friends here from "Gamebooks" magazine (Bulgaria), which will definitely be interested in publishing it. It is not distributed in bookstores and is in small quantities, 100-200, sold just to cover the expenses, usually in crowdfunding manner. If you are interested to be published here on paper, you definitely can be :) |

The Curse Of Drumer

Man I've played through three times now and still I find a way to die. lol Thanks so much for this really interesting, and scary little gamebook! :) The only thing I never understood was why I had to keep doing skill checks once I found the sacred axe, I forget now what its called. But I had to test my skill about three times over, and I never was clear on why? To may haps see if I were worthy? Thanks for this book, and this good group of friends we travel and fight here with, I really like the way they work together. My last lesson learned, never test your luck in a darkend passageway. :P |

So in early November 2011 I had facial melanoma surgery and spent months feeling sluggish. I decided to get out of this by joining English Heritage and National Trust and started going round these properties with parents. In these properties, particularly one room in Boscobel House, it brought home to me what an uneasy coincidence it is that my mom always claims to sense the dead. Oddly, as a warlock that's one thing I can't do. Make of that what you will. |

Now if that wasn't the most simplistically creative things ever. Loved it. Extremely unique style and House of Hell esque need to do exactly the right things play together nicely. Story is great. Would totally recommend and commend. Grade: 99 |

The Curse Of Drumer

This time I started with SK 12 ST 24 LK 11 and fear 12. Glad I went with the 24 stamina, I needed nearly every bit of it! :) Not sure why I was unable to use the provisions in my previous game, possibly it had something to do with my IPhone? No clue, But I'll be playing on my desktop from now on.
finally, the nightmare is over - the Curse of Drumer has ended! Thanks again RD for another fun but on edge run through TCOD. Just glad I figured out the answer to the combonation door with the orb, methinks that helped a lot! Next play through I'll have to try the alternate weapon and choices. Thanks again! :D |

Arggh! I was sooo close to recovering Tes but I was afraid I'd have a luck roll involved with that sneak attack and fail it. :) This is my third play through, but I'll keep at it. Thanks for the new skill/stamina/luck system. I like the idea of having a class of stats to step into. Instead of re-rolling over and over. I've developed a real hate on for these villagers! I look forward to wiping them out. :D |

Atmospheric and well-written but the program didn't let me use my Tommy-Gun so I died. |
