Blimey! Don't know what went on there. Must of been telepathising with another planet like is possible under Bell's Theorem (if you want to know more get my martial arts book) Anyway, NDR the comedy mickey take adventure sequel will eventually get done, but for now i am writing Electra as compulsively as under a Geas. NDR is a laugh to write: but Electra is CATHARSIS. Sabine Dunser RIP.

I used to be an assassin and warlock, otherwise I could not survive in such difficult times. Sit beside me and listen to my tales of days full of adventure. This is the chronological history of a witch's son who dared to challenge.
Glad you enjoyed the adventure. I wrote it years ago, and although I did draw a map at one time, I'm afraid it's long gone. But having played through it a few times, you could easily run through it and construct a map as you go.
I enjoyed the book, played it a few times after completing it as I like some of the other passageways. Was wondering though if the author could email me a map of the house. paulanthonymcmullen1988@yahoo.com
Definitely very cool to play next to Lancelot. I died and must retry however. When you reach the stone statue room, do this:
SPOILER
Take the passage behind the statue just for curiosity sake. On the left, you are trapped and forced to fight a rotting corpse monster. That is where I died, and I suggest you regain some stamina from previous fights before going to check out what lies past the corpses. Just trying to keep you out of trouble.
What that interview (thanks again for that) doesn't make clear is quite how many decisions I have made out of sheer hubris: and since 2009 I've worshipped a patron deity whose duty amongst the Olympians was to punish hubris amongst both gods and men. In any case, thanks for your sympathy. Realistically I would do it all again just to go through like being make to sign myself MEng (Hons) Oxon. I'm quite philosophical about it now, in my actual career It's more useful to have a general knowledge of engineering than be able to do Laplace transforms, or whatever.
Sorry to hear you got a 2.2. If you it makes you feel better, so did I. I also had a friend who almost chose to do a PhD at Oxford. She didn't. I'll tell her what you said.
Another memory I have unlocked from this bloody book was the one of the reasons 'Eddora' and I broke up was me trying to get a 2:1, which eventually ended in failure anyway. Previously to this both Eddora and I, who were at St Hilda's and Queens respectively, had advised her younger sister: 'No one should go to Oxford. It is a mistake to go to Oxford.' I was later to repeat this advice to another girl friend. Those of my readers who have lived the middle class dream might be advised to tell this to their own kids. Or not.
Using metres to describe the Cyclops's height doesn't really fit the feeling of playing a sword & sorcery type medieval game book. If it was a Sci-Fi Cyclops then perhaps, but here it should be the good olde English system of feet and inches.
You are mistaken. Stories their are infinitely more complex than FF. That site has its own scripting language. Just check out Dungeon Stompage or MyVacation. One of them is a fully funtional, open world, fantasy rpg and the other is a sim simulator.
Choose Your Story is really good - it doesn't have any of the dice rolling, so it's just a straight interactive fiction, but some of the stories are excellent.
