What a cracking good site. Thisll keep me occupied. Ive been a fan of the books for some 18 years, and still have lots of 2nd edition origionals. Even tho im about to hit 30 years old, (shhh), you cant beat the escapism of Fighting Fantasy and all its followers. |

Sadly, the definitive Fighting Fantasy website, Mark J. Popp's fightingfantasy.com, no longer exists. Following the disappearance of Hugh Eldred-Grigg's site I had anticipated something like this happening, so I made a copy. For anyone who is interested, this can be found on the downloads page. Please note that I have no intention of supporting it, so don't complain to me about broken links etc. |

I've been gone for a while. Gone so long, in fact, that I've had time to get a laptop while I've been gone. Anyway, I'm still trying to beat hellfire. Would someone just tell me, I've exausted all possibilities, the answer to the woman's riddle after the giant mushroom cave? It seems every time I enter a sensible answer, I fail in my mission. What's going on? |

I've found what seems to be an error in The Trial of Allibor's Tomb. I was in the lake and attacked by a Tentacle. It gave it's stats, but there was no 'fight' link and I couldn't continue. |

This happens only in Internet Explorer, I'm not really sure why. I've fixed it now though, thanks very much for bringing it to my attention. |

Isle Of The Cyclops Here at last is the online version of Andrew Wright's latest. I took the easy way out and changed the rules to standard Fighting Fantasy. Apart from that it's fairly true to the original. |

Isle of the Cyclops is an entertaining adventurette (is that a word?) For those who don't know, this adventure was written using the style of the "Fabled Lands" Series. The online version is somewhat adapted, as stated. For those who would like to see the difference, the original is available in the "downloads" section of this site. |

Argh! In Hellfire, how do you get past the Hellfire? I've tried every option available, I've redone the dungeon taking different choices and picking up different items...and I still can't get past it. No matter what I do I end up dead. :| |

Hi Everyone. Found a couple of sherlock holmes adventures on the interactive fiction archive over at www.ifarchive.org. These games are multiple choice adventures, but much of the decision making is through skills you select at the beginning of the books and through dice rolls to determine events during play. I bet these could easily be converted (with the addition of combat senarios) in to fighting fantasy gamebooks as playable on this site. Anyone wanting more information, drop me a line at igucukoglu@hotmail.com. I wouldn't recommend these ordinarily, but I do think these are exceptional books and have been really well adapted for enjoyment on the computer.http://www.ifarchive.org |
