Three more short gamebooks are available for downloading. They are Charms And Tiny Arrows and Into The Valley Of Halos, both by Andrew Wright, and Incredible Shrinking Knight by Zachary Carango.
Sure! Zachary Carango has already written the Incredible Shrinking Night for 1 issue (February), and is currently working on another for the next issue (April), I'm doing the issue after that (May), so if Zach's not already got an idea for June (maybe ask him), then go for it. Email me at greyarea13 at hotmail dot come for more details. The only prereq is that the adventure is 25 refs, and, with rules, fits on 2 A4 pages.
On November Andy was so nice and put the link to Northern Frontier. Now I prepared the experimental English version translated by google translator. The quality of translation is maybe not of top class quality, but it allows the non-polish-speakers to play .
OK... I just spent 20 minutes looking through the 1,736 posts in the Guestbook.
I can't find a clear answer to what to do when you encounter the Acid River.
There's apparently some Rusty Gauntlets and a Reveal Spell I have to acquire. (And you don't use the Time spell yet, you apparently use it later when you encounter a Shadow Hunter or something.) And the dead end relevant to this issue is the "wild goose chase" associated with the number 278, right? So do you use Reveal Spell at the Dead End?
How do you get the Reveal Spell?
Are there other things I have to do? I don't want to play more of this, only to realize that there's a bunch of other stuff that I missed and will have to start all over to get.
This game could be fun, but it's becoming extremely tedious instead.

We are your biggest fans, we play these games 24/7 and hope to complete them all before we die. We both really really enjoy playing on this website and it's now added to our favourites! Thank you so much for creating this for us and every other lover of this site. Many thanks, Zangolf and Ziminksi.
I just looked back at my earlier comment and noticed that I didn't even mention that I was talking about the game Hellfire.
Still haven't solved that problem. I need a Reveal Invisible spell so I can use an Open Door spell at that dead end near the acid river, right? But where do I get Reveal Invisible?
The paper-form gamebook for Hellfire available at http://www.ffproject.com/download/HELLFIRE.DOC has you discovering the Reveal Invisible spell at 21. But a search turns up no page telling you to turn to 21.
Is there any way to complete the game so it DOESN'T end badly? I just killed the Trinitour, yet still I get consigned to oblivion. Is there some other ending?
I have just discovered this site after, like many others here, becoming nostalgic for the original FF books from my youth. Deathtrap Dungeon in about 1986-ish was my first I think! I'm really enjoying WWGB and managed to beat the first book but I am struggling with POTS.
SPOILER
I've met the sapling but can't work out how to weaken the queen/strengthen myself especially as I read the true path has no combat until the end, which rules out a few choices in the citadel. I've tried all the VR suite choices (i think) but seemingly no help there. Any clues... I'm so close it's really frustrating. i did beat the queen once but died because of the bush wouldn't help me. But I didn't do anything to weaken her specifically an I I haven't been able to do so again. Also, I eat the sandwiches in a different order each time but don't see what the consequence of this is.
END SPOILER
Any pointers would be much appreciated. It's a great read by the way, you're a talented writer. Thank you.
To strengthen yourself you need to go through training with an energy whip. This is done in the VR suite. To weaken the Queen, the sandwiches will give you the clue. It's not about the order they are eaten in, but which one is left over to give to the shrivelled man. Since there is more to do afterwards, I'll tell you that you should give him the salad sandwich. Regardless, you can still defeat the Queen, it's just much harder.
I've gotten the weapon to kill the count, but halfway through the fight his butler,d'onnifrio (sorry if I spelt it wrong) runs off to get the 'brothers'.I kill the count but the brothers then kill me.How do I avoid this?
you need to have the Stringiamano with you. You meet it more than once along the way; the 3rd time you beat it, you must choose to trap it instead of trying to destroy it

OMG!! To the owner of this thing : thank you SO SO much for creating this FANTASTIC WEBSITE! I loved fighting fantasy books as a child and have wept for them ever since (while wondering which door I should take to magically transport me to a land of endless espressos...)and so am thrilled to find this site. *salutes*
